That is pretty cool.
A bit of rest0-mod, and that would be quite the runabout.
Cut and polish the red paint.
Replace the roll bar with something a bit more substantial, perhaps with some lights on a fold-down bracket, if you ever plan on using the top cap.
Some tube bumpers with a matte finish powder coat or LineX style coating, with matching roll hoop.
perhaps also either deleting the chrome/black strip or coating it to match the bumpers and roll hoop.
Newer, meaty wheels and ATS tires.
If you go for more than just looks... I can only imagine a modern engine swap, a modern transmission, perhaps a full-time AWD transfer case, and just a couple more inches of ride height, and some suspension upgrades.
I can envision this with a full makeover with bronze graphics in place of the white, with the wheels, bumpers, roll hoop, grille and other accent pieces being matte bronze with a ruggedized coating, and pair of saddle-brown leather or synthetic leather seats, LED sealed beam headlight replacements, and LEDs, updated wiring, gauges, electronic ignition system, and otherwise fully modernized, but still on that same classic open-top utility body.
